RLB appoints its first head of AI

RLB describes his appointment as a milestone in the firm’s digital, data and AI journey. Harris has a strong track record of building and scaling AI capabilities in complex organisations. Most recently, he led AI strategy and innovation at Volkswagen Financial Services UK, where he established the organisation’s AI function, governance model (both human-in-the-loop and human-on-the-loop) and enterprise-wide adoption programme.

According to his LinkedIn page, his work for VW in the past year generated £450,000-plus of measurable savings a year.

Prior to this, he held innovation leadership roles within Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the BMW Group, delivering large-scale technology and process transformation initiatives.
