Data centre developer Green Mountain adopts Buildots platform

Norway-based Green Mountain has data centres – either operational or under construction – in its home country, Germany and the UK. It has signed an enterprise agreement with Buildots, whose construction intelligence platform is already live across two projects in Frankfurt and Stavanger, with further expansion planned

Green Mountain claims to operate the world’s most energy-efficient data centres and operates on 100% renewable energy. That same discipline is increasingly shaping the build itself, through faster, more efficient delivery.

Under the agreement, Buildots provides Green Mountain with construction intelligence across much of the project lifecycle – from superstructure through to fit-out – combining 360° cameras and drone imagery to generate progress data and early risk insights.

Green Mountain can use the intelligence generated to exert greater control over its capital investment: an independent view across its portfolio, early visibility to protect the delivery dates that matter most, and a growing body of insight that strengthens every project that follows, Buildots said.
