Nima sponsors Digital Team of the Year at the Digital Construction Awards 2026
Nima is once again sponsoring the Digital Construction Awards. The organisation is sponsoring the Digital Team of the Year category.

The Digital Construction Awards celebrate best practice and reward innovation in the application of BIM, information management and digital technology in the built and managed environments.
Nima sees synergy between the Digital Team of the Year category and the Information Management Initiative (IMI). Its chair, Dr Anne Kemp OBE, said: “This award category fits strongly with the objectives of the nima-led IMI. The IMI invites organisations to sign up to some overarching principles, create an organisation-wide mandate regarding information management principles, and set out their desired business outcomes.
“Our early IMI signatories are leading by example, mandating the IMI to their own people, seeking to achieve compliance with its principles and push the sector forward.
“Being an IMI signatory is not a requirement of the award category, but we hope signatory businesses will grab the opportunity to be recognised for driving digital change across their organisations. Equally, entrants in this Digital Construction Award category might also wish to become IMI signatories – recognising the close fit between the category and IMI aims.”
The shortlisted entrants will be revealed on 12 January. The trophies will be awarded to the winners at a gala dinner attended by 400-plus of the sector’s leading lights on 18 March 2026 at the Marriott Grosvenor Square in London.
The awards are organised by Digital Construction Week, the Chartered Institute of Building, Construction Management and Digital Construction Plus. More sponsors will be announced very soon.
This year, McLaren Construction won Digital Team of the Year from a shortlist that included teams from AtkinsRéalis, BAM UK & Ireland, Laing O’Rourke and WSP.
