£4bn Bristol development extends use of Revizto
Developer/contractor YTL UK Group is expanding its use of Revizto across the £4bn Brabazon development in Bristol.

Having successfully used Revizto during the design phase of the 19,000-capacity YTL Arena, YTL Construction will now use the platform across additional elements of the masterplan, which is set to transform the former Filton Airfield into a new urban district.
The Brabazon development will deliver more than 6,500 new homes, three schools, commercial hubs, retail and leisure spaces, and an expansive green public park, as well as the arena.
YTL Construction initially used Revizto at the design stage for the YTL Arena, a project more than 3km in length. YTL digital construction lead Dean Paton introduced Revizto to the business because he recognised the need for a platform that could democratise access to 3D models, simplify visualisation and accelerate quantity take-offs.
As both the developer and the contractor on the Brabazon project, YTL can maintain continuity across the lifecycle of its projects. By embedding Revizto early into the process (from preconstruction), YTL can ensure better coordination, seamless collaboration across stakeholders, and more efficient project delivery – reducing costly rework and keeping complex projects on track, Revizto said.
Paton explained: “When I joined YTL, I knew Revizto was the right tool to bring in. At the Arena, we needed a solution that would give everyone – planners, design managers, consultants – easy access to models. Revizto not only helps us visualise and break down complex designs, but also saves huge amounts of time in calculating quantities and costs. By expanding its use across Brabazon, we’re ensuring consistency and efficiency from day one through to delivery.”
