Nima’s immersive conference to focus on practice and progress

Nima is hosting its third annual virtual conference on 6 November, focusing on the practical implementation and measurable success of its Information Management Initiative (IMI).

Aimed at senior practitioners, policymakers, tech providers and clients from across the built and managed environment, the free event will provide real-world insights into how to close the gaps in information management adoption.

Attendees can expect practical advice and keynotes from industry leaders, head-to-head conversations, panel discussions, case studies, live discussions, networking, peer learning, and a virtual cafe. 

A new immersive virtual format will increase hands-on participation and improve networking, facilitating freer movement between sessions and direct engagement with exhibitors and small group discussions. 

Nima said: “What differentiates this conference is its focus on practicality and measurable progress. Sessions will examine how organisations are implementing IMI rather than the theory, the challenges faced, and the frameworks being used to track and evaluate change.”

What drives change and the commercial imperative will be discussed, and the case made for the inclusion of non-technical stakeholders – including cost managers, insurers, legal professionals and funders – in the information management conversation.

Six panels will address key themes, including: why change and the growing importance of information management; how to achieve change using the IMI; creating accessible information and standard frameworks; measuring change and capturing metrics; and education and upskilling.
