Nima seeks more volunteers
Nima is seeking more volunteers as it continues its mission to promote information management best practice.

While a handful of people are paid for their work with nima, the vast majority of its day-to-day activities are delivered by volunteers.
Some are supported by their employers in committing their time and sharing their expertise; others volunteer in their spare time to help keep nima, buildingSMART UK & Ireland and the Information Management Initiative running.
“Across all key areas of nima and buildingSMART activities – including membership and project management, communication and events, education and upskilling, communities and stakeholder engagement, standards and guidance – we would welcome further volunteer support," nima said.
“We welcome volunteers from all levels and disciplines across the built and managed environment sector, from the UK and internationally – energy, ideas and enthusiasm are just as vital as expertise and experience. Please play your part in helping improve information and data management for all our benefit.”
Those wishing to volunteer should email Dave Peacock, nima's vice-chair for volunteers.
